Our experience in the construction of floors and walls in Vicenza stone and related materials teaches us to supply the marbles without treatments or waxes, since in the laying and grouting phases they would significantly hamper their natural drying. We believe that the best aesthetic- functional result is obtained by completely treating grouting and slabs / products after laying and once it has been ascertained that both the material, both the screed and the grouting are sufficiently dry. There are many companies on the market that offer different water repellent solutions. Below is a data sheet drawn up by the company Fila Industria Chimica S.p.A .. In our opinion, most of the products on the market are valid, but not being responsible for the treatment, we leave the customer freedom of choice on the type of product that he deems most appropriate to use, making sure that the seller and the tractor are given appropriate guarantees. Initial washing
Product: CLEANERPRO diluted 1:10
Yield: 1/2 liter per 100 square meters, depending on the degree of dirt Equipment: rag or mop
INTERIOR FLOORS / COVERINGS
Yield: W68, 10 liters per 100 m2; SATIN, 5 liters per 100mq Equipment: brush or other suitable applicator.
Maintenance
Product: CLEANERPRO diluted 1:50. SATIN diluted 1: 5 in clean water. Yield: 1 liter per 100 square meters
Equipment: rag or mop Procedure: clean with CLEANERPRO diluted in water. If possible, use hot water and wring out
the rag (or mop) well, rinsing it often in the detergent solution. Pay close attention to the electrical
and telephone distribution systems; rinse. Stain protection: Product: W68 waterproofing oil-repellent and SATIN waxy protective for very
absorbent floors. Procedure: after a few hours, when the floor is dry at least on the surface, apply a coat of W68
evenly and continuously with a brush. Wait at least 4 hours before applying 2 coats of SATIN
evenly 2 hours apart. Procedure: clean with CLEANERPRO detergent diluted in water. If possible, use hot water and wring out the rag well, rinsing it often in the detergent solution. Periodically (depending on the traffic that the floor suffers), after washing the floor, pass the solution of water and SATIN, semi- polishing wax for floors. (5 parts of water for each part of wax).
